Hey! I'm So Glad You're Here.

My name is Emily Mills (aka Ms. Mills) and I'm so excited to be launching my new website, focused on sharing videos, resources (including lots of freebies), tips and tricks, and more through my journey as an educator! As a history and social sciences teacher, I have noticed a deficit in classroom videos and resources from a Canadian perspective that centre equity and justice. I hope to help fill that gap creating videos and resources that you can use in your classroom!

I'm a relatively new teacher, having joined the profession in the 2020-2021 school year. I completed my Bachelor of Arts (Honours) at Queen's University in 2019, and immediately followed it up with my Bachelor of Education, which I completed at Queen's in August of 2020. During my undergraduate degree, I focused on Canadian History and the History of Gender and Sexuality. During my B.Ed., I focused on supporting exceptional learners and earned my qualifications for Intermediate/Senior (grades 7-12) history and drama. I have since gone on to add additional qualifications, including in grades 4-6, primary/junior mathematics, supporting exceptional learners, and more which can be viewed on my Ontario College of Teachers page.
